Keep at -18°C or below until use. Thaw only the quantity needed for one trip; do not refreeze after thawing.
Match rig weight to depth and current — lighter for estuaries, heavier for surf or offshore. Present bait naturally near structure or bait trails.
#8–#2 long-shank for whiting and garfish; #4–#1 for bream.
Handle gently — they are fragile once thawed. Keep in a sealed bag in the esky and use quickly.
